Garage Sales

Information for having a Residential Garage Sale

  • Sales can be held once every ninety days, for three consecutive days.
  • Permits are free but City of Moore signs are required at a cost of $2 each.
  • One sign is required at the location of the sale and a maximum of 5 signs can be purchased.

Permits and signs can be obtained at the City Hall Customer Service Counter, 301 N Broadway, Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. If you have questions, please call the City of Moore Customer Service Department at (405) 793-5032.

Be Moore Active! Parks Programs Online

The City of Moore Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce the start of its online registration system and activity guide. 

Simply click on an option of "Play a Sport, Reserve a Facility, or View Activities" on the left hand side of the website. 

To use the new system you will create an account and follow the instructions from there.  It’s that easy!

You can now reserve a room or pavilion, and enroll in an activity or program from the convenience of your home.

Sewer Problems?

CALL AHEAD!!!! Call us 24 hours a day at 793-5080 whenever you have signs of a developing backup. We’re on duty around the clock; working together, we can prevent most sewer backups. Signs of blockage include:

•Slow Draining Sinks
•Wastewater back flow
•Continuous Sewage Smell

If there’s a problem with the City line, we should be able to fix it before sewage backs up into your house. If your private line is blocked, we’ll tell you so you can get it fixed.

Odd-Even Watering Measure in Effect

Moore is joining Oklahoma City and has implemented Progressive Water Conservation Stages. Mandatory odd/even watering (Stage 1) is now permanently in effect. If the drought worsens, additional conservation measures will take effect. To Learn More click here.
