New Moore Recreation Center

The City of Moore Parks and Recreation Department works to provide quality recreational opportunities for all citizens of Moore. The Department strives to provide safe and eye pleasing areas for recreational purposes, and to coordinate efforts to maximize the use of existing parks.

The City offers a variety of parks and recreational facilities, including a Community Center, a Senior Citizens Center, sports parks, playgrounds and neighborhood parks. We also sponsor and organize many events and activities.

Refund Policy:
Camps, Leagues, and Programs

100% of cost minus $20 processing fee will be refunded on any refund request 5 business days (Monday – Friday) prior to start of Camps, Leagues, and Programs. 50% of cost will be refunded within 5 business days (Monday – Friday) of the beginning of Camps, Leagues, and Programs.
0% of cost will be refunded on any refund request after from the beginning of Camps, Leagues, and Programs. 

*If processing fee was paid in your transaction it will not be refunded at any time.
*All Refunds May Take Up to 2 Weeks to Process.

Be Moore Active! Parks Programs Online

The City of Moore Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce the start of its online registration system and activity guide. 

Simply click on an option of "Play a Sport, Reserve a Facility, or View Activities" on the left hand side of the website. 

To use the new system you will create an account and follow the instructions from there.  It’s that easy!

Community Center

The Moore Community Center is located on the northeast corner of SW 4th and I-35, and offers Moore residents a variety of facilities including meeting rooms and a gymnasium. It also houses the administrative offices of the Parks and Recreation Department.

The Community Center has four meeting rooms available for non-profit community use. Rooms 1-4 will seat 50 persons each; Rooms 1-2 combined will seat 100, as will Rooms 3-4 combined. Kitchen/snack bar facilities are available.

Financial Education Programs

The Moore Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with Edward Jones for educational finance programs in 2015. Check out the list of programs and visit www.cityofmoore.com/fun to sign up for a spot in class.

Parks Board

The Parks Board serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council, and makes recommendations to the Council regarding the planning, development, maintenance and betterment of the city park system. The Parks Board meets at 7pm on the 1st Tuesday of each month (unless preempted by a City Council meeting), in the City Council Chambers at City Hall.

Mad Science Camp

When school is out, Mad Science is in. Your child can continue to learn even when school is out, and won't even realize it because "We have fun down to a science."

 Extreme Animals Camp

Get ready for a wildly entertaining experience!  Get up close and personal with endangered species, creepy crawlies and more! You will also learn about different habits and create different types of arts and crafts that relate to those species and their habits.    

 Discovery Camp
When:  Wednesday July 29th - Friday July 31st (with overnight at Little River Park) ; www.cityofmoore.com/fun

Time:  1:00pm – 4:00pm
Age:  3rd grade – 8th grade
Fee:  $100.00 with T-shirt
Does your child enjoy special projects and experiments? If you said “YES”, then this 3 day camp is for your child. Come build over a dozen different motorized models from an Erector 65 piece set.  Instructor and students will participate in multiple experiments that are fun and educational.

 Abrakadoodle OKC Art Camp

Ages:  7 to 14
Cost:  $90.00 Maximum:  15 for the class
Abrakadoodle OKC Art Camp explores Crayola’s fabulous products!  Create colorful paintings, imaginative drawings and unique sculptures using Crayola watercolors, Model Magic, paints and more!
