Moore Police Advancement Center (MPAC)
In March 2024, the Moore Police Department and the City of Moore officially opened their new training facility, the Moore Police Advancement Center (MPAC Center). This building serves multiple purposes, serving the Moore Police Department and its community through outreach and academy programs and allowing the Moore Police Department to make an “MPAC” in our community.
The center comprises the entire Moore Police Department training division. Inside is approximately 6,000 sqft of office space, conference rooms, a virtual reality simulator and mat room, classrooms, and a customizable tactical situation room equipped for simulation purposes.
The MPAC center currently hosts various training courses, including CIT, BID, Peer Support, HNT, Crypto Currency Chain Analysis, Defensive Tactics, Virtual Reality Use of Force training, and many others, making it one of the busiest in-use facilities in the city.
In December of 2024, Moore Police became an official CLEET-accredited training city, allowing Moore Police to host and run our own 24-week Basic Police Officer Academy. This academy is held at the MPAC Center and has trained Police Departments, Sheriff’s Offices, Military, Civilians, and Fire Departments.
