Home Repair Program
The Home Repair Program will cover the cost, up to $5,000.00, necessary to make an owner occupied unit meet public standards for safe, decent and sanitary housing as required by the 2018 International Property Maintenance Code. Allowable costs include, but are not limited to HVAC, roof, windows, doors, etc.
Program Overview
To be eligible for the program the applicant must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Household income cannot exceed 80% of area median income
- Property must be within Moore city limits
- Property must be owner occupied
- Applicant must have lived in the home for at least one year
- Applicant must have a State of Oklahoma issued ID
The funding provided will be in a the form of a forgivable loan. If the applicant sells, transfers, deeds, or otherwise conveys the property within four years after the rehabilitation project contract signing, they will be obligated to repay the City of Moore at a prorated amount.
