Moore City Council has hired MSR Design to facilitate the design portion of a proposed new public library, with the location anticipated to be in Central Park (700 S. Broadway). We invite you to participate in this survey aimed at gathering insights and preferences regarding the development of a new library, as well as, your current insights and preferences regarding our existing library. Whether you're an avid reader, a technology enthusiast, or someone seeking community engagement, your feedback will guide us in tailoring a new library's resources to cater to a diverse range of interests. The survey will cover various aspects, including preferred amenities, desired programs and services, space planning preferences, and accessibility requirements. Your feedback will play a vital role in guiding the planning and decision-making process. In addition to the survey results, community engagement interactions will take place at various times throughout the Spring in the form of focus groups, one-on-one interviews, and feedback sessions at various places around town. This project is in the design phase only. The City Council must still approve a design, prepare a timeline, and designate a funding source for the actual construction of the proposed library.
