Police Officer Applicant Testing
The Moore Police Department is seeking applicants to fill multiple Police Officer positions. Applicant Testing will be held on July 17, 2021 at 9 a.m. at Central Park, SW 9th Street and S. Broadway.
Applicants need to sign up prior to July 17, 2021. Physical testing for the position of Police Officer will be conducted on Saturday July 17, 2021 at 9 a.m.
Applicants need to download an application for employment from the Moore Police Department website at www.cityofmoore.com/departments/police-department/join-our-team and bring the completed application packet to the written testing. Applicants must also bring a photo ID for Physical Testing.
The physical test will consist of:
• 1.5 mile run in under 15 min 20 sec
• 300 meter sprint in under 68 seconds
• 18 pushups in 60 seconds
• 27 sit ups in 60 seconds
Upon successful completion of the Physical test, applicants will progress to the Written Examination. Written Examinations will be held after the physical testing on July 17, 2021. Bring a photo ID and $15 dollars to the Written Examination.
Upon successful completion of the written examination, applicants will meet with an evaluator and if scored high enough will be scheduled for an oral board interview.
