  • Moore Police Now Hiring

    Wednesday, September 10, 2014 - 5:00pm

    The Moore Police Department will be holding a written and physical test for the position of police officer on September 10 at 5:00 PM.  Go to the Moore High School field house located at 300 N Eastern (on the east side of the football stadium). Bring a photo ID and $15 for the written test. The physical test will be first and consist of 1 1/2 mile run in 15 min 20 sec. 300 meter sprint in  68 seconds, 15 pushups and 26 sit ups.   • Eastern Avenue to be closed for Road Construction

    Eastern Avenue will be closed between SE 24th St and Broadway beginning Sunday July 27th at 7 pm.  Construction work will last approximately 10 days.

    This will be the first part of fixing the pavement at the intersection of Broadway & Eastern.

  • City of Moore Fishing Derby

    Saturday, August 2, 2014 - 7:30am

    The City of Moore and the OK Wildlife Department will co-host this event; Rain or Shine
    Check-In:  7:30am
    ​Derby:  8:00am 


    The OK Wildlife Department will be on site for safety, knot tying, fish ID, fish cleaning and ethics training.

    Bring your own pole and bait (crawlers, stink bait, shrimp, liver etc.)

    4 fish limit per family.  No culling.  You catch it, you keep it!

  • National Night Out 2014

    Tuesday, August 5, 2014 - 7:00pm to 9:00pm

    The City of Moore and Moore Police Department cordially invites you to be a part of the 31th Annual National Night Out (NNO) crime prevention event, to be held on Tuesday, August 5th, from 7 to 9:00 p.m., at Target [720 SW 19th St].  Among the activities scheduled for the evening include Ambulance, Fire, and Police demonstrations.
