  • Private Security Camera Registration Program

    The Moore Police Department would like your help.  We are starting a new program to help us in solving crimes and recover stolen property. Many homes and businesses are installing private security cameras.  We are asking for your help in compiling a list of camera locations by having the owners register their system with the Moore Police Department.  This program is completely voluntary and will not cost the owner any money.  The information will then be utilized when a crime is reported in an area where we have a list of locations with cameras.  The Police Department would then contact the owner and request a copy of their video footage to help develop leads in the investigation.  There would be no cost to the individual or business as the Police Department would provide the necessary equipment to download the video footage.  The information provided by the owner of the camera system will not be available to the public or subject to open records requests.     Moore’s Christmas and New Years Holiday Schedule

    The holiday schedule for city services is below:

     Christmas Eve (Wednesday, Dec. 24) - Open

    • City offices will be open normal hours
    • Thursday trash will be collected.

     Christmas Day (Thursday, Dec. 25) - Closed

    • City offices, community center, senior center, and animal welfare closed
    • Trash will be collected on Wednesday, December 24.

  • City Council Approves Name for Park

    The Moore City Council approved the name for the new park being built at 4th and Broadway.  The park will be called Dr. Curtis Berry Central Park.   The recreation and aquatic facilities will be call The Station at Central Park.
