  • Tornado Damages Moore - 3-25-2015

    3-3-2015 3:30pm - The Preliminary Damage Assessment map has been completed and uploaded to the website. File can be found at the bottom of this page.

    Per FEMA/SBA/OEM extensive damage survey over the past two days, the damage assessment is as follows:
    33 homes destroyed
    27 with major damage
    47 with minor damage
    347 affected


  • Debris Removal Plan for March 25th Tornado

    (March 27, 2015). The City of Moore will begin storm debris pick-up Monday, March 30th. Storm debris needs to be:

    • Moved to the edge of your curb
    • Not covering your water meter
    • Separated (separate tree limbs from the rest of the debris; separate refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning systems as well; refrigerator/freezer doors must be removed.)

    Several passes will be made through the damage area but please make every effort to have all storm debris at curbside as quickly as possible. If you have questions about the debris removal plan please call the City Manager's Office at 793-5200.

  • Contractor Requirements in Moore

    Following storms in our area contractors for various trades will come to Moore to solicit business. Attached are the contractor requirements. 

    Home owners need to use caution and make sure contractors have the appropriate permits, licenses, and insurances in place before paying for services.

  • Earth Day Recycling Event

    Saturday, April 18, 2015 - 8:00am to 4:00pm

    The first Earth Day was held in April 1970. Over 40 years later, this little holiday gets some big attention, and its mission still holds true to encourage action for a healthy environment! Help the City of Moore celebrate Earth Day by taking advantage of some great recycling opportunities. 

    On April 18, 2015 the City of Moore will hold recycling opportunities at the Moore Recycle Center located at 400 N. Telephone Rd. 

    Citizens will be able to drive thru and drop off items.
    •Paper Shredding 8am-Noon
    •Tires 8am-Noon
    •Electronics 8am-Noon
